Isabella & Millie Angel
Hi! My name is Isabella. I am a Standard Poodle.  Here are some photos  of me and my new sister, Millie Angel (aka Millie NOAngel). I know, I know, you are saying to yourself, how on earth could they be sisters? They look NOTHING alike! Well, we look nothing alike because Millie is adopted. We haven't told her yet but plan to when she gets older.

Millie came from the Lewis County Animal Shelter. She and her two sisters were feral or wild dogs. They had no home and  were roaming the streets looking for something to eat. The shelter trapped them in cages when they were about 7 or 8 months old.  They were caught when they returned to a barn where they tore open grain sacks looking for food. They were so hungry, they were eating grain and seed to live. Can you imagine that? I wouldn't like that very much! I have NEVER been hungry in all my life.  When Millie first came to live with us, she was afraid of everything. Now she is as confident as I am and that is VERY confident! At first, Millie used to eat slugs and gross me out. She still eats grain and seeds when Mom feeds the birds. She is cur dog through and through but we love her just the same.
Millie had never even been in a house or worn a collar. Don't tell but she wasn't housebroken either. Now she never goes potty in the house. We got her in March and not too long after that she started going to jility class with me and is a star (well, that's what Mommy says but I know I am still the BIGGEST star around here!).
Millie's favorite place to sleep is upside down on the bed and she can't believe we get fed BARF (bones and raw food). She thinks she died and went to heaven. Luckily, because we adopted her, she didn't have to die like so many unwanted furry friends do. It makes me so sad that some doggies and kitties have to die because nobody wants them! I wish everyone would adopt. Mommy and Daddy say Millie Angel is the most appreciative little dog in the whole wide world! I wish people would spay and neuter their furry friends.
I still miss Bear but I really love my new sister!
