Helping to Keep Uptown in Squalor since 1987
I'm an anti-Shiller activist. I strongly oppose Shiller and her methods. According to Helen and her supporters, I'm an EVIL man, because I:
- Decrease diversity, by virtue of my race
- Have a good job
- Bought a "yuppie palace" in Uptown
- Hope real estate in Uptown appreciates
- Love it when filthy apartments are gutted
- Think Uptown supports too many homeless
- Hate panhandling
- Intend to vote in my best interest (bye Helen)
- Enjoy Borders and Starbucks
Outrageous! I believe:
- "Yuppie Ghetto" is a term born of envy
- A free market can result in gentrification
- A free market isn't the same thing as racism
- Alderman shouldn't have a foreign policy
- Alderman should represent the majority
- Further development will improve Uptown
- The Trib was right: Jesus People USA is a cult
I'm not who you think I am:
- I give both time and money to charities
- My partner is of another race, and HOT!
- I don't drive an SUV and never will
- I was here in 84, and Uptown was a DUMP!
