Somewhere to the South of New York City... |
Paul, Linda and family spent the month of June 1974 in a 133-acre ranch in Nashville, USA, the home of songwriter Curly Putnam, who, in 1966, had written the Tom Jones hit "The Green Green Grass Of Home". During this period, Wings recorded "Junior's Farm", "Sally G" and "Walking In The Park With Eloise". The same sessions also produce "Bridge Over The River Suite", "Hey Diddle", "Send Me The Heart", "Proud Mum", and Linda's "Wide Prairie". It was on Nashville that Linda made a surprise to Paul by buying him the original double bass as used on Elvis Presley's recording of "Heartbreak Hotel".
