When I Was A Pup
Linda's family was: her father, Lee (Leopold) Vail Eastman (January 10, 1910 - July 30, 1991), her mother Louise Sara (née Dryfoos) Lindner Eastman (November 9, 1911 - March 1, 1962), her brother John  (July 10, 1939), her sister Laura (b. 1947) and her younger sister Louise Jr. (b. 1950).
The 7-year old Linda and songwriter Jack Lawrence, who wrote the song "Linda" for her in 1944. The song became a huge hit in 1946, with Buddy Clark on vocals. Linda is shown holding the original sheet music.

By 1968, Linda was already a well-known photographer among the several musicians in London, NY and LA. She developed a friendship with several of them, being herself the subject of some pictures taken by celebrities such as Jimi Hendrix, Graham Nash, Jim Morrison and Brian Clarke.
