Some rather interesting Links |
Very few of the links on this page are to movie websites. This may seem rather weird seeing as this is primarily a movie website, but hey we all have other hobbies and interests. So these are other sites i have found on my travels so take a look at them, you never know you might like them. Just click on the address or any words in bold and underlined, unless instructed otherwise. |

That concludes Helin's magical mystery tour of some of the interesting sites i have found late at night on my travels. Wanna go back to the safety of my first page? Just click on the flaming back logo. |
I'm v. quickly, speed of light sorta thing, gonna mention some bands which i like, chances are you've never heard of them hence why i'm gonna mention them to widen your musical horizons. First off we have the punk band 'Undeclinable' (click on logo to right), then we have 'Quasi', SwitchBlade Kittens, Souls, Disturbed, Stabbing Westward (Ta Matt!), VNV Nation and Apoptygma Berzerk (Ta Tash!), Pennywise, No Doubt, Skunk Anansie (who have now split but follow the link to Skin's site, her album rocks!, and to find out what the rest of the band is upto) and NOFX |
Newgrounds.com, Campchaos.com, Stickdeath.com Three very similar sites, that are mostly just sick and perverse but V amusing animations! Well worth a peeky and a play about. Especially the monster truck rally Britney Spears and Rooftop Skating games on Newgrounds :) |
Finally some more odd websites. Visual Paradox is a site that has numerous wierd & wonderful backgrounds etc. (some i've used around the site), Micro Magnet is dedicated to bringing you pictures of your favourite things (like a lettuce) magnified many times. The Bartend is a site all about jokes and drinks v. good if you need some new cocktail recipes. |
Continuing our fly by tours, MP3.com is a music site which you can listen to the songs over the internet and download some of them. Give it a go & look up these bands, as they're V. good (those in bold click on to goto the bands website): Tang, Four Star Mary (Ta Bad Bex!), Enda, Distorted Penguins, Lacuna Coil, Farse, Strobed, FROM ZERO (these guys are fantosstic!) and YOU'RE PRETTY (Ta Emily!), unfortuneately this band have split now nut their stuff is sooo good so do have a look around for it its worth it. |
Wes Craven, one of the masters of horror. A great website, which gives you full lists of his films & projects as well as a Q&A section. Plus the site has a really fantosstic setup! |
The Internet Movie Database has every movie you can think of on file, and gives huge amounts of detail & info about each film Also great for nicking film posters from. |
I'm a fan of 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' i admit it! So much so that i've done a whole page of just links to sites that revolve around the show. Click on the dirty pic of cartoon Faith & Buffy to go there. Also, 'Much Ado about Buffy the Vampire Slayer' is a huge site which has...well everything: pics, quotes, not to mention this really groovy 'Be a watcher' section where if you have a website you can, basically, be a watcher and watch over your favourite characters. See mine below & click on either to goto the site. The Spark is an amusing online tests site, click on the slut pic to goto it (it isn't my percentage honest!) |
The Goth Club Listing, is a site that lists most of the goth clubs around the world, tis v handy if you need to find one in you local area or if your visiting somewhere. |

K i have to, unfortuneately, keep updating this page with my newly discovered interests which means some of the older ones have to go because there isn't room on the page :( So onwards, to the right is a link to the offical manga site, over the past few years i have really gotten into reading and watching anime and manga and have even reviewed a few anime films on this website. I also started reading this comic series recently called 'Strangers in Paradise' by Terry Moore, its actually been going for like 10 years!!! Anyways its absolutely fantosstic and the link to the website is below :) |
