HISTORY

Gaara had a very messed up childhood. He was born by taking the life of the woman he would have called his mother. He was a testing experiment, born with the incarnation of 'Sand' inside of him, Gaara was to become the ultimate Shinobi. The demon inside of him was called "Shukaku" a living spirit of an old Sand Priest sealed inside a tea kettle. Gaara was created as the village's masterpiece; the Kazakage's son. He was spoiled rotten and taught every secret of the Shinobi. He was free to do whatever he pleased, whenever and wherever he wanted to.

medicine can healall sorts of physical pain but emotional pain isn't that easy. Sometimes, it never heals. But, he added, there was a cure for it. It was called "Love"

Moreover, there was one person whom Gaara thought loved him, but really didn't. Yashamaru, the twin of his mother. Yashamaru was there to help Gaara when he needed it. He taught Gaara the difference between physical and emotional pain. He explained to Gaara that

One day however, Yashamaru was ordered to assasinate Gaara. He had a choice of whether or not he wanted to, and he told Gaara that. He said that 'd he agreed to assinate him because he was in pain as well. He told Gaara that his mother was sacrificed to give birth to him, she never really wanted to in the first place. And he hated Gaara for taking his sister's life, although he did try to love him as a momentum of his sister, but couldn't. Yashamaru said that his mother gave him his name, "Gaara" which means "The Killer Who Loves Only Himself"

There's not much to say. Gaara has mastered his tecniques perfectly and no one can defeat him. He wears a sort of sand shield that hides his real emotion. Or, shows none at all. Inside, the Shukaku iseating him alive. His eyes have dakr marks around them as a result of insomnia, never being able to sleep for fear of the true demon inside of him waking up.

When he battles Naruto, the true demon in Gaara really does awaken and the two demons clash.

PRESENT

In the end, both Naruto and Gaara are exhausted both have used up all of their chakura and life-

Gaara apologizes to them both for the first time in his human life, which leaves both Temari and Kankuro dumfounded. Gaara finallly realizes that he isn't alone in the world, and that people, like Temari and Kankuro really do love him.

Gaara finally understands that Naruto has true strength and was albe to defeat him because of love. Gaara has a flashback and realizes that all Yashamaru said to him was true. Love could heal all your emoitonal pain. It gives you strength to keep going and going, just to protect a precious person, until you die. It ends as we see Temari and Kankurou coming to pick up Gaara.

And that is the last we see, (though hopefullynot for good) of the Sand-Nins and the invincible but lonely, Gaara of the Sand.

ATTACKS

SHIELD OF SAND

Regardless of his will, this protective covering envelopes Gaara in an invincible coccoon when it senses that he is in danger. It is stronger that steel and can withstand just about anything, except for amybe extremely high-speed attcks or Taijutsu. Nevertheless, it is the ultimate defense.

DESERT COFFIN

An attack which surrounds Gaara's opponant completely in sand and renders them permenantly immobile. It can also suffocate the victim if surrounded trapped and surrounded long enough for the sand to cut off the air supply ot the lungs, which happens, if Gaara wills it.

DESERT GRAVEYARD

Almost the same as the Desert Coffin except ofr one thing. After being completely surrounded by the Sand, the victim is crushed with so much force that they die an immediate death, so quick, that the did not have time to feel the pain.

Sand Bushin (Clone)

Like the Shadow Clone, sort of, instead made completely out of sand. Also, it will not disappear when attacked but it would be of no use as a decoy for it takes the appearance of Sand.

ARMOR OF SAND

A very thin layer of sand used to hide Gaara's emotions and keep the demon inside of him trapped. He only uses it if someone "actually" penetrates his Shield of Sand. Since it's not automatic, it uses up a lot of chakra and also weighs Gaara's body down when he wears it. It doens't protet as well as the Shield of Sand either and Gaara only uses it if he's in a pinch. However, when the Armor of Sand does break, all hell breaks loose and Gaara kills whoever he sees just for the fun of it

In a last attempt to kill Gaara, Yashamaru explodes his entire body but once again, the Shield of Sand protects Gaara. After witnessing all that happened, Gara snapped and immediatly, the kanji 'Ai' was tattooed onto his forehead. It was then that Gaara finally learned that he existed only to kill other people.

Naruto goes on to tell Gaara that he knows what it's like to be alone in the world, feeling like no one cared about him. Gaara is confused by Naruto's words, and asks why Naruto would still be willing to sacrifice his life for the people who shunned him out in the first place. Naruto says that there were people there who acknowledged him in that village and that he didn't care about what anyone else thought. Becuase he had people who he was glad to call his friends

In the end, both Naruto and Gaara are exhausted both have used up all of their chakura and life-force. Naruto finishes Gaara off with a headbutt attack and both fall to the ground.
