NO to the Anan plan for Cyprus

SILENCE IS COMPLICITY!

NO TO THE NEW ATTILA

CYPRUS UNITED - FREE - HELLENIC

Despite the heavy rain, Hellenic Front organized on December 2, a new rally and protest march against the unacceptable Anan plan for Cyprus. The march headed for the Athens Archbishopric, where the resolution of protest was delivered to a representative of Archbishop Christodoulos by Ioannis Poulis, Director of the Hellenic Front, and Christos Charitos. 2 weeks ago, the Hellenic Front had organized a demonstration to the Foreign Ministry.

With banners, leaflets and chants the Greek patriots informed the people about the Anan plan and its traps for the Cypriot Hellenism. We demonstrated in the central streets of Athens giving a note of resistance to the national decline, but also a note of optimism for the future of Hellenism. The resolution delivered to Archbishop Christodoulos is as follows:

RESOLUTION
to the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Christodoulos

Today Monday 2 December 2002, Hellenic Front organized a protest march against the acceptance by the Greek and Cypriot governments of the UN Secretary General Kofi Anan's plan for the Cyprus problem, which practically partitions Cyprus and entraps the Cypriot Hellenism. To be exact, Hellenic Front:

  1. Denies the veto right given to the Turkish-Cypriots at executive and legislative level, in the Presidency and the Senate.

  2. Condemns the creation of 2 "component states", which are based on racial criteria and do not allow the Greek-Cypriots to live in the occupied territory.

  3. Considers as unacceptable the limitations in movement, settlement and trade, the EU "vested rights", which will be applied to the Greek-Cypriots.

  4. Asks for the return of all Cypriot refugees in their ancestral homes and all Turkish settlers back to Turkey.

  5. Demands the full refund of the Greek-Cypriot refugees, which may not wish to return to the occupied territory.

Hellenic Front demands from the UN Secretary General and the Security Council the implementation of the Organization's decisions and the international Law in Cyprus. At the same same, we condemn the compliance of the entire Greek political establishment, which once again is incompetent to defend Hellenism's security and rights.

Hellenic Front fights for a free Cyprus, in which the Hellenic Civilization will be reborn. We stay loyal to the sacrifice of Archbishop Cyprianos, the EOKA epic, the ashes of Gregoris Auxentiou, the struggle of Evagoras Pallikaridis, the sacrifices of Isaac Isaac and Solomos Solomou.

Hellenic Front asks from the Church of Greece, the Holy Synod and the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Christodoulos, to assist the hit, by the Anan plan, Cypriot Hellenism and back the Church of Cyprus.
