This was a fun trip to a nice trail that no longer exists, it has since been partially logged and gravelled over. The first thing we see when we show up is this monstrous mud hole with a wall at the other side, the mud was slimy red clay. After a few people attempted the big hole we managed to drive alongside it very easily only to be treated to a long uphill battle of ruts properly nicknamed "Red Gut". It was quite a struggle for most of us and we really had to use good mudding skills to make it up this. On our way up the hill our driver's side hub broke and we lost 4 wheel drive and had to floor it and try to make it. At the top they thought we didn't know we were in 2 and were shocked to find out we broke. After a quick fix with some spare hub parts and a little wait for everyone else to make it up we moved along. After some fun holes that had 3 or 4 ways through them we had reached what appeared to be the end. We had to turn everyone around and head back down. We had to go back down "Red Gut" and the monster of a hole at the end. What an awesome sight right before you dropped into the hole with your tires locked up and sliding you see the parking area with a lot of trucks sitting, then you see dark muddy water right before your headlights disappear under it, then the moon and sky as you come out, then the parking area again. What a Rush!

Attempting a trail to the right of the massive hole.
Us going up Red Gut in 2 wheel drive.
A pretty mild spot and yes we are still moving.
The holes were bottomless even to a truck with 39.5" tires on.
