Rain

You say rain
When you listen to it
Is the sweetest sound ever heard
Well, it isn't if you are deaf to it

You say rain
When you taste it
Is the sweetest taste of all
Well, it isn't when all your taste buds have died

You say rain
When you see it
Captures your imagination
Well, it doesn't if you are blind

You say rain
When you stand in it
Can wash your troubles away
Well, it can't when your troubles are deep within

I say rain
When I think of it
Reminds me of you
Well, yours is the sweetest sound and taste
You capture my imagination
You wash my troubles away

I say my rain is you
