April 7th, 2000 was officially proclaimed
Margie the Panther Day
by order of the mayor of Miami/Dade County,
Alexander Penelas.
Margie left us at the age of 14
to go home to the angels
and to be forever free
but her son, Oseola,
(say 'Ass-ee-yah-holo'),
popularly known as 'Orca'
is on display.
