SHOP AROUND BEFORE YOU BUY.

If you plan to use a timer to control your lights, use an high current
relay between the timer and the lights, as the lights draw an high
current and will burn out the contacts in the timer.

AVAILABLE FROM MAPLINS & FARNELLS ETC

When setting up your lights suspend them on chains or other suitable
cables, that will allow you to easily adjust the height as you will want
to keep increasing the height as your plants grow, keep a 60cm gap
between the top of the plant an the ballast.

High wattage lights give off heat,  ventilation and fans are needed
to circulate the air so the plants can absorb oxygen.
