Symphony Of Experience

An interesting collection here, Symphony Of Experience is comprised of a number of BBC Sessions tracks, along with a few other rare studio/demo tracks. Some of the demos/outtakes are interesting, but have appeared on many other releases that I've picked up recently. Highlights of this CD are the Stevie Wonder jam (available on BBC Sessions) and three versions of Drivin' South (two of which are on BBC Sessions). There's also the 2 Noel Redding songs, Dream and Dance; Dream which features Noel on vocals, while Dance features the only track drummer Mitch Mitchell sings on. Interesting pop songs, but the quality on them is a little on the rough side. Supposedly taken from an acetate, or test LP. Overall, a decent collection of material that at the time of this release, was unreleased.

Quality of these tracks are pretty good for the most part, with a couple exceptions. I'd recommend picking up the BBC Sessions CD set before this one, but if you happen to see this one somewhere at a good price, pick it up.
