Before the Experience's formation, Jimi did a number of sessions with Curtis Knight. These have been released on countless compilation albums, songs have been hacked together from different songs and made into new ones, etc. Basically, quick cash grabs up until this point. However, the original sessions have finally been put together in decent fashion, remastered, and released on a total of 6 CDs. I had heard that these had the support of the Hendrix family, but I don't know if that is true or not. I have the first two in this series, `Flashing', and `Get That Feeling', and am planning on ordering the remaining 4 in the set. I know that the first in the series, `Get That Feeling', is showing as no longer available on the computer at the local music store, but I don't know the status of `Flashing'. The other 4 show as available, so hopefully I can get these without too much hassle.
