Volume 1 of the remastered PPX recordings, these are songs featuring Jimi playing guitar, and Curtis Knight on vocals. Recorded in 1965/66, these featured more R&B styled songs than the psychedelic ones that Jimi would soon be playing with his new band, the Experience. Not bad songs, but these only hint of what would come from Jimi. This release is no longer available according to my local record store, so if you see it, and you are a Hendrix collector, you should grab it.
