BIOGRAPHIA
Redwing originated in a Sacramento trio,Tim Tom And Ron,whitch featured Timothy B Schmit(gitar/bass/vocals),Tom Phillips (gitar/pedalsteel/vocals) and Ron Floegel (gitar/vocals)
They devoloped into the Contenders whith the addtion of george hullin (drums), but this surf-based band took thename
The New Breed when the group emtraced a garage-cum-folk/rock derection.
The same quartet moved to Sacramento,california where they were later known asboth Neve,Mind and glad
Schmit joned
Poco as bassist in 1969 and in 1977 to The Eagles He  was replaced by Andrew Samuals.This restaped line-up evolvedto become Redwing
The masters of a self-financed album secured a deal with Fantasy records,The Band's sound embraced a taut,melocicstyle,based on country-rock whitch was to become indentifable with california in the ensuing years.
However their five albums were marked by inconsistency.
The group was unable to garner a significant following,and split up following the release of
