hours of operation

We are open Monday-Friday  7 am to 5 pm

tuition fees

Tuition is due the first business day of  the month-- or the date that is designated  by the provider-- in the morning. There is a 5 dollar fee for bounced checks and an 1 dollar fee for each day the tuition is late. I always post a notice on the childs chart when tuition is due

pick up and drop off times

There will be a form for parents to fill out regarding the time  their child will be dropped off and picked up. A child will be considered absent from daycare 30 minutes after designated drop off time, Parents please call the provider to tell her you are running late. Late pick up time after 5:05 is 5 dollars and a dollar for every minute after that. You can call me after 5 pm when you are stuck in a situation and I will not charge the late pick up fees.  Parents who are picking up their child earlier than 5:00 can also call to let us know if you are going to be late.

parents responsibilities

Parents need to provide enough food for snack-both am and pm- and also lunch. Your child also needs to have extra clothes for hot and cold  days. Lastly, please provide, sunblock, diapers and diaper wipes. Please be sure to label all the child's belongings.

field trips

Three out of four to five days we will be going on field weather permitting us. I have a double stroller and a single stroller that I Use for field trips. Parents are welcomed to join us. I either go on the bart train to the berkeley ymca or Habitot or iI walk there. We also go to totland. We leave at 9 am sharp on fieldtrip days so parents please call if u are going to be late.

notice of withdrawals

2 month notice must be given by parent /provider in regards to terminating a child in childcare for various reasons: child graduating to preschool, parent & provider conflict, and etc. This way the provider has time to fill her childcare spaces . Also gives parent time to look for childcare incase the provider   terminates care.

vacations & sick days

parents  must give provider a 2 week advance notice about vacations. Parent still must pay tuition regardless of family vacations. No deductions also when a child is sick. I might be able to add extra days depending on enirollment schedule. I  will try to give parents sufficient notice about my vacation and days off. Only one week of vacation . A small amount will be deducted from the monthly tuition.
