"CLAY FIELDS", a film that kills the viewer (DV, Video 8mm, 35mm film, Pixelvision, Super 8mm film) feature film debut by award-winning director, Ramzi Abed... "Clay Fields" is finished now! It is being submitted to festivals and distributors right now! All rights available! For now, suffice it to say it's a very complex film about the nature of time, parallel identities, coincidence, seemingly random violence, lustful obsession, and isolation. Inside one man's brain, and in between one woman's legs, lies a startling mystery that takes place in one solitary, haunted apartment where the dimensions converge. "Clay" (portrayed by actor, Eric Fleming, "The Interview") is smitten by "Penny" (played with enigmatic flair by actress, Heather Bohlmann), but is she manipulating him, or are his encounters with her merely dreams? Faces come out of the woodwork, as two men, both calling themselves "Jimmy" (portrayed by Dan Walton and Ramzi Abed), attempt to help "Clay" adjust to his new and strange surroundings. There is a reason why this special prefurnished apartment came so easy to find... So many reasons lurking behind one Angora cat's smirk... The title character, "Clay", is on an "Alice In Wonderland"meets "Lost Highway"-like descent into an Earthly hell. His self-induced study of isolation and his filmed evidence of his actions begin to become too much, as the very line between the real and the surreal unravels. At the beginning of the film, "Clay" is seen murdered. As the traffic and pounding atmospherics take you forward in the narrative...You find yourself at a place one year before, when "Clay" first moves into his apartment...
