I graduated from Harvard University in June of 2003. After a summer of bumming around back home in Arizona, I came to Japan on the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Programme. I am an assistant language teacher in the city of Nakatsu in Oita prefecture on the island of Kyushu. I am employed by the Nakatsu Municipal Board of Education, and I teach English to mainly junior high school students, but have also taught elementary school students and young adults.
