Making a Decision to change TODAY!

There's no such thing as a non-decision.  You might think that doing nothing is surely a non-decision.  But it isn't at all.  Doing nothing is a descision not to do something.  You may think that a decision not to do something is procrastination.  Call it what you will - it's a decision to do it later.

So you put off dieting till tomorrow. Chances are: if you're a typical yo-yo dieter, you're not good at holding your weight steady.  You're either in diet mode or binge mode.  That means that by postponing a healthy weight loss program, you have made a decision to put on weight.  Is that what you really want?

The other possibiliy happens for different reasons but the outcome is also a decision to put on weight.  Every time you say "I'll start tomorrow" the chances are that you're going to stuff it in today.  That would be logical.  You want that pleasure before the deprivation to come.  That's also a decision.

Instead, convince yourself that you don't want to make the decision to put on weight.  Instead decide that you're new lifestyle degins now.  Consider every decision and it's non-decision in this light and see it's power to help you make positive choices.
