BOOGIE RIFFS
HERE IS A SIMPLE BOOGIE PATTERN IN THE KEY OF "C"...
FIRST PLAY A LEFT HAND "C" NOTE...
REMEMBER THE "C" NOTE IS THE NOTE IMMEDIATELY
TO THE LEFT OF THE TWO BLACK NOTES...
NEXT PLAY A LEFT HAND "E" NOTE...
THE "E" NOTE IS THE WHITE NOTE IMMEDIATELY TO
THE RIGHT OF THE TWO BLACK NOTES...
NEXT PLAY A LEFT HAND "G" NOTE
THE "G" NOTE IS THE WHITE NOTE IMMEDIATELY TO
THE RIGHT OF THE FIRST OF THE THREE BLACK NOTES...
THE G NOTE IS THE SAME DISTANCE FROM THE E NOTE
AS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE C AND THE E NOTES..
YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THESE ARE THE SAME THREE
NOTES THAT MAKE UP A "C" CHORD... ONLY NOW YOU
ARE PLAYING THEM ONE AT A TIME LEFT TO RIGHT...
NOW PLAY THE "A" NOTE. ..
THE "A" NOTE IS THE WHITE NOTE JUST TO THE RIGHT
OF THE "G" NOTE
PLAY IT OVER AND OVER WITH THE LEFT
HAND
C,E,G,A C,E,G,A C,E,G,A
NOW ADD A RIGHT HAND C CHORD AFTER EACH NOTE.
THE RIGHT HAND PLAYS THE C and E and G notes at
the same time. THAT IS A C CHORD
Play left hand C note then Right hand C Chord
Next Play left hand E note then right hand C Chord
Next play left hand G note then right hand C Chord
Next play left hand A note then right hand C chord

Now, The same riff, using a different "key"
In the key of "F" we start with a left hand "F" note
