More details about me.

To start this I'll tell you my name's meaning: María proceed from  Hebrew and it means sea women and Fernanda proceed from German and it means  brave in the peace.

I was born in Puebla City, Angel's city, in the province of Puebla, Mexico; however, it can be said that I am from  San Martín Texmelucan since, as all my family, there we lived my first months and I hope to go back soon. Well, actually my parents had his house in the village known as  Santa Catarina Hueyatzacoalco, that in Náhualt language it means  «big water landing-stage». This town is located to no more than ten minutes by car from downtown San Martín; it is a pretty small village whose people are mainly farmers (agriculture with traditional methods). We liked to go out for a walking around the house, my dad took with him a big bag where we recollected some vegetables . My parents believe that land is blessed since although we've been bad with it, that land hasn't left us on our own and that land gives so much to eat that is very hard that somebody dies from hungry if he/she look for food.

Now we live in  Toronto, in the province of Ontario, Canada. For a bit longer than two years we lived on  York University campus which is in the region known as North York in the metropolitan area of Toronto; currently we live at Bathurs St. and Finch Av. West on one of the sides of the beautiful  G. Ross Lord Park. This that Canadians think that is a huge city, for us Toronto is not so huge and complicated as it is Mexico City. However, we coincide with many Torontians in this is a magic city  where you can find a huge diversity of cultures from almost any part of the world  living together, people who still keep their language and way of life. This makes Toronto proud for being such a nice place.

Well I keep telling you how my arrive to this world that I like and hope to understand later.

In the night of January 2, 1998 I started to complain and to say "I want to be born"; but it was until January 3 at 2:30 in the morning when finally I was born. It is said that everything was kind of normal and that the hurry was only at the last moments. I live my first ten days in my grandpas' home, later as I already told you I was enjoying the life in Santa Catarina. On August 27, 1998 we got to Toronto and until now life here seems to me fabulous.

Since my first months I have liked music and to dance; my favorite singers were  Pedro Infante , Cri-Cri and Tatiana to whom I invite you to listen if you have not yet; I can tell you that if you have not, you are missing something really good.

Well, now we're talking about music and my favorite singers, the one I most like to listen is my granddad Wences since he sings so beautiful Mexican songs.  I know he misses me as I miss him.

Since I got to Canada I have learnt many things; for example, it was here where I learnt to walk, I've discovered many things and my parents are teaching me to speak Spanish and English.

One thing I really like is the moon and some times I send long time watching it . I think that as every child I like little animals like birds, geese, seagull, fishes, doggies, cats, chickens, ducklings, ...

I enjoy to eat ice cream, popcorn, and I can't forget about McDonald's. I enjoy my mom's food and most her Spaghetti.
