M y First Memories
![]()
This is one of my first pictures, it was taken few hours after I was born. You can see that my parents were already kind of crazy for me, they wanted me to wear "really nice" with my little coronet and white dope and since my mommy wanted everybody to note that I was a girl, I wore a little sweater that my grandma Gela wove for me in December 1997. I am in my cradle and as you can see I have my identification card that every newborn baby gets above my head which my parents keep fervently. By the way, the hospital where I was born was the Unidad Hospitalaria la Paz which is at Acatlán #24, La Paz in Puebla City, Mexico. Some of my newborn data are:
The Pediatrician was Dr. José Enrique Cruz Montalvo and the truly excellent physician was Dr. María Teresa Cuevas Zamora. In this second picture we were leaving the hospital to go to my grandparent's home, My grandma Veniz was holding me on her arms. Look at my dad's face, he was the happiest man in the world, and so was my mommy because thanks to God everything was okay. Unfortunately in the picture one cannot see my other grandparents, my uncle Toño who also were leaving the hospital with me; however I will show them to you later on. Now let me tell you that when we arrived to my grandparent's home, they and my uncle Toño organized a welcome for us that was a surprise, specially for my mommy since everything was decorated with pink balloons, a clown with a banner saying "Welcome". And that was my first day in my grandparents home who thought I was not going to sleep that day; they were wrong. ![]() Huhh! It's cold! Look at me here in my first bath at home. For my mommy it was all a experience, for my grandmom who had a pretty long time without giving a bath to a baby was to remember those days she gave a bath to my daddy and my uncle Toño. Actually, it was not really a bath since they only got me wet. Poor of them, they were so scare and nervous when I was shaking and they decided to get me dressed immediately.
Only until I was one month old my grandpa Lipas decided to hold me and it was in that moment that I knew the arms that many other times later lull me to sleep, console me when crying and so on... Thanks "abuelito". ![]()
This picture was taken on April 25, 1998. This was intended to show you that since those days I've always spent some time to exercise my muscles. I decided to do that because people used to say that I was a bit fat. Can you believe that?
