Brachypelma albopilosum
Valerio 1980

Nice spider, and you can see why they call em curlyhair tarantula.
This spider lives in Costa rica and Honduras, and lives in burrows between the roots of trees..
Most of these T's are being overfed and are way too fat. I feed mine once a week, and maybe even that is too much! These spiders are easy to breed, and out of an egg-sac may come around 500-1000 babies.
After they hatch, they grow quite slowly and reach maturity in about 3 years ( males ) and 5 years for females. Depending on temperature and feeding.
