At the start Heyaeb was a real live-band. Front-man Joachim Claeys was an animal on stage and all shows were full of humoristic items. That was the secret concept of this formation and some people liked it, others found it disgusting, but everyone had seen them ! They also succeeded to build an own die-hard audience. Nowadays the performances have become more professional. There’s always a guest-keyboarder and sometimes a live-guitarist.
