Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center, St. John`s, on Monday, September 25th, 2000 Mr. Edwin H. Janes of Hants Harbour. Age 78 years. Past Master, Lodge Hearts Content, 33rd Degree Scottish Rite, Past Potentate Mazol Shrine Temple. Predeceased by brothers: Arthur and Maxwell and sisters: Millie Janes, Henrietta Snook and Ruth Thomas. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, wife Audrey; one son Blair and wife Heather; one granddaughter Adrienne, all of Hants Harbour; one sister-in-law Marilyn McLennan, Mass., USA; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green`s Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Tuesday 3-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.; Wednesday 10-12, 2-5 and 7-10 p.m.; and Thursday 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. from Hants Harbour United Church & Cemetery. Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, on Monday, February 28, 2000, Mrs. Dorothy Janes of Hant`s Harbour, aged 74 years. Predeceased by husband Chesley and son Wallace. Leaving to mourn three daughters: Shirley (Ern Perry), Glovertown, Clara (Wayne Parrott), Heart`s Content, Edith (Nicholas Alteen), Naples, Fla.; one son: Sheldon Dean (Ruth), Burscough, England; one daughter-in-law: Rona Janes, Hant`s Harbour; six granddaughters: Vicki, Mary-Lynn, Jennifer, Stephanie, Nathalie and Samantha; three grandsons: Deon, Robbie and Nicholas. Also a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Green`s Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours: Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Thursday 10 a.m.-12 noon.
