Notes: Richard Doggett was documented in England 8 July 1520 as a witness for a deed in the Suffolk Record Office at Bury St. Edmunds, and was listed in the Groton, Suffolk County Lay Subsidy (assessment for taxation) in about 1523 or 1524. J. J. Muskett 1 lists him as appearing in the Lay Subsidy of 1526 of Norfolk and Suffolk Counties, and calls him "a wealthy inhabitant of Groton, co. Suffolk."
