| Galileo visited Rome to demonstrate his new discoveries in 1611. In 1613 he published papers on sunspots and letters on sunspots. In 1615 he went to Rome to present his views to the Church .In 1618 a dispute about the nature of comets broke out, between H. Grassi and Galileo. And in 1623 he published Il Saggiatore on his view of the nature of comets. |
