HHSDFS Scholarships
Scholarships awarded by HHSDFS from funds raised by local volunteers from local donors.
In 2003, two scholarships of $500 were awarded to students enrolled in four-year universities, and one scholarship of $250 was awareded to student enrolling in a two-year junior college program.
Patrick Klement Memorial Scholarships
Scholarships awarded in memory of Patrick Klement, formerly a rocket scientist with General Dynamics, to a young man and a young woman pursuing a career in engineering or science.
In 2003, two scholarships of $500 were awarded to a young man planning to study Engineering and a young woman planning to study Pharmaceutical Science.
HHS Senior Class Scholarships
Scholarships funded by the senior class of Hilltop High School (Class of 2003).
In 2003, two scholarships of $500 were awarded from the year-end surplus remaining in the ASB Class of 2003 fund.
Best Buy Scholarships
Scholarships awarded by the Best Buy Corporation.
In 2003, Best Buy awarded three college scholarships, of $2500, $1000, and $500, in every congressional district in America, with assistance of Scholarship Management Services dept of Scholarship America, parent of Dollars for Scholars. Through HHSDFS's efforts, eight HHS students applied, and two won ($2500 and $1000).
