Dangerous is one of my original horses in HF. He was originally intended to be a racer, but after one race I took him off of the track and started retraining him. Racing didn't seem to be his thing, so instead he was directed towards eventing. He has found his place there, and he is off to a good career in that area. In his second event, Dangerous took reserve champion. He had only been in training for a short while, and his first event had been anything but spectacular. Gerry seems to have settled into his new career and has been doing well for himself. In addition to competing in eventing, we also take him to some dressage shows to keep him in the game between events.

Dangerous is as his name implies, not a horse easily handled. Though he is somewhat of a gentleman with me, I don't allow others to handle him. He is a typical high-strung stallion, and he doesn't take to discipline very well all of the time. Some people would suggest gelding him, however that is not a step I'm willing to take at the moment. He's a young horse with a promising future, and I'd hate to geld him and regret it down the road. I'm hoping he'll mellow out a bit with age, so we'll see what happens.
