NH Vaquero Gold Glitz is an adorable little yearling who was purchased from New Harvest Arabians at the end of 2006. This little girl is a very smart and curious horse, and I think she will be a pleasure to train under saddle. Though energetic and playful, she seems like she will be a quiet, steady horse when she matures a bit. She does not spook easily, from what we have seen, and she appears to take great care in familiarizing herself with her surroundings. Immediately after being let go in the pasture, Glitz and Lady (the horse we bought with her) went off on a tour around their turnout area. When she was lead through the barn, Glitz had to stop and check everything out before she would move on. After deciding that the tackboxes do not taste good, she finally allowed the girl leading her to bring her into her stall. This curious nature leads me to believe that she will turn into an excellent trail horse later on.
