Shylin's Summer is one of three mares that I have recently added to HSF. Like the other two, Summer was a horse of mine from a previous game. She had just been started under saddle, and for the past few years has been completing her training.

Summer is now taking her rightful spot at Hidden Star Farm, and we look forward to being able to finally compete her. She's advanced in her training under saddle, but she has never been shown before. I had made the decision to use her for cow work until I realized that it may not be the best path, as she's never encountered a cow. My doubts were erased, however, the day after she was brought to HSF. One of my more experienced students, Rosa, was riding her when a few dogs came into the arena, and boy did she get a surprise when Summer started herding them out all on her own! Rosa has been giving the task of finishing Summer as a cow horse, and I have a feeling I wil enjoy watching the two of them work together to prepare for the show pen.
