Bursitis | ||||||||||||||||||||||
- Inflammation of a bursa, a fluid-filled sac that facilitated motion and reduces friction. Most commonly a chronic injury caused by repeated trauma to the area surrounding the bursa; however, it can also be an acute injury caused by a direct blow. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
