Symptoms
- Pain on active movement or passive stress 
- Loss of function of the joint 

Signs

- Point tenderness at joint and ligament 
- Joint instability with second and third-degree sprain 
- Swelling 
- Hemorrhage 
- Ecchymosis 
- Inflammation
