A WORD ABOUT FILIAL THERAPY

Sometimes, it is helpful for parents to become directly involved in play therapy by learning how to conduct play sessions at home. This is known as Filial Family Therapy. Parents are trained and supervised in the use of basic CCPT skills. Using these skills can be a powerful way to connect parent and child in ways that can be appreciated in and outside of their special playtime.
