Disclaimer:  I don’t own CSI, but I wish I did….so I just manipulate the characters so they will do as I please….it’s fun really it is.

Summary: What does this CSI couple do on Halloween?

A Quiet Night

Gil Grissom was sitting upright in bed, back against the headboard, deeply involved in his crossword puzzle when the sound of a soft voice next to him startled him out of his daze.

“We have to start getting ready or we are going to be late.”

“I am not going.”

“Come on Gris, everyone else is going to be there. Why not join in  on the fun for once.”

“No thanks. Let them have their fun. The new forensics weekly came in yest--” he said flipping over to face her.

“You are not going to sit inside on Halloween and read forensics weekly.” She retorted.

“Why not?”

“I just refuse to let you sit here while everyone else is having fun.”

“You refuse?”

“Yes. I refuse. It’s that, and the fact that I will go with a date this year. I must.”

“Oh so now I am your date?” he replied tickling her underneath the covers.

“Mmnn…Gris! Stop it!” the sheets became tangled between them. As she squirmed her laughter rang through the air.

“I love your laugh.” A gentle finger brushed a strand of blond hair out of her face as he stared into her deep blue eyes.

“Really? Well, I really love your lips.” She kissed him hard, running her fingers through his tight, gray curls.

“Yours aren’t half bad either.” The moonlight shone brightly through the open window, dancing across the floor. The cool Vegas breeze billowing the curtains slightly. Suddenly he was kissing her neck lightly, moving slowly upward until his lips met hers. She wrapped her arms around him, holding on to the passionate kiss for as long as possible. Finally after what seemed like an eternity, their lips broke apart.

“Gris?”

“Yea?”

“Let’s skip the party after all.” She suggested, laying her head softly on his chest.

Touching her cheek and smiling, he positioned himself closer to her, enveloping himself in her presence. “Catherine, I thought you would never ask.”
