Everyday the lives of innocent children,

Are placed into my hands.

I do my best to ease their trouble,

And turn around their life's plans.

I look with sorrow, at a parent's abuse,

I sigh and hang my head,

How could they hurt such beautiful faces,

With their fists and the lies they said.

I seek to make a safer place,

So the little ones may start to heal,

So young their innocence stripped away,

As they met the world, so real.
