I have been a practitioner of Dianic Wicca for over 14 years, and am the High Priestess of the Silver Melody Coven. I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister by the New Seminary in New York, NY, and am a member of the faculty as heir representative for the Goddess oriented and pagan faiths.
I am an activist, fighting for pagan rights and education regarding our beliefs in the United States. I am a the MD Director of WARD (Witches Against Religion Discrimination) and the PUC (Pagan Unity Campaign), and a member of the WLPA, the ACLU, the Fellowship of Isis, AIM and various animal rights organizations.
I believe that as pagans it is our responsibility to present ourselves in a manner that is dignified and nonthreatening, and thus alter the public's skewed perspective of who we are. I believe in education, active change and, when all else fails, outrage that inspires action.. |
