Locked
Locked in a brick,
Not out of fear or sadness,
But more for the beauty of seclusion.
The sweet void of alone,
Absolute nothing,
     An orchestra of silence,
          Melody of empty notes.

Blocked between these empty walls
Some would think them closing,
         But I,
I see them ever expanding, Growing outside these simple boundaries
Of cement and rock.
      A spinning globe of existence
  Lives,
And here I sit locked in a brick
                   Watching it all unwind.
