Heather arrived in July 1981. She was a pretty four month old Irish puppy with a sweet, loving disposition, and she was the the first dog I showed to a championship title. We also did quite a lot of obedience work together and entered a few trials, but never really pursued this to any great extent. In her only litter, three of seven puppies completed their Canadian Championships: Can. Ch. Highfeather Country Child, Can. Ch. Highfeather Trademark, and Can. Ch. Highfeather Flirtation. "Heather" was helped to the Bridge at 15 years one month of age. She was a remarkably healthy, wonderfully alert, devoted house companion for all of those 15 years. She was my happy sweetheart.
