Seven month old Shane, affectionately known as "Shane, The Red Colt", arrived in 1980. He was one of the sweetest Irish Setters I ever owned. He acquired seven of the ten points required for a Canadian Championship before his untimely death, at 17 months of age, from complications following surgery for Gastric Dilatation.
