2008-2009 School Year
7:10 p.m. President Natalie Jula called the meeting to order.
The August/September treasurers report was submitted.
This was the first meeting of the school year 2008/2009. This was a meet and greet meeting.
A 50/50 drawing was taken. Total collected was $77. The prize of $38.50 went to Candy Doncevic.
The PTO can no longer have lollipop sales at the school. Treats must have less than 35 grams of sugar, a new rule for the school this year.
There is a suggestion to have the school supply store more regularly and to be run by 6th graders.
Movie Night is Friday, September 12th. Either Camp Rock or Nim’s Island will be shown.
Those in attendance were asked to sign up for committees.
Mrs. Galitsis was introduced and she then introduced the teachers.
Open House is September 23 and 25. Donations for the Chinese auction are needed. President Natalie Jula has letters that can be used. There will be an auction of a 20 inch flat screen TV that we earned from our Giant Eagle points. There will also be a bake sale and book fair that week. Help is needed.
Cathy Fisher explained the clearance process to those in attendance.
Everyone then had a meet and greet session.
