...of roses. After a moment the rest of us could smell it too. Then it turned into a new tent/plastic odor. Following that we could smell cotton candy, and then an oil smell appeared (like in a machine shop), all within just minutes. While two of us were discussing cold sensations on the palms of our hands, Bobby took the other a few steps away to see if they could see anything down the other direction. He then asked the other two to join them in looking. I myself was looking for a misty body or something crazy, and the only thing I saw in the distance was a tiny white flash (similar to a lightning bug). Bobby asked if we saw it too, and everyone replied yes. Then it flashed again to the left (still in the distance). Bobby asked if we saw it move to the left, and each of us did. He then stated that it was comming closer to us, but none of us saw it, that is until it flashed near the pine tree that was right in front of us and it disappeared again (at this point I realized that it was a spirit orb that we were seeing in action with our naked eyes). We all saw it one more time fly near the top of the pine tree that was in front of us and disappear shooting towards the sky. We we all amazed at what was going on and when it was all over with, Bobby said that what we saw...was Jim (James). He (Jim) wanted to say thank you for caring...and now he may leave. I was overwhelmed, excited, almost speechless. All I could say to Bobby and his friend was "Thank you, thank you so much" and I passed out hugs. On the way home I called my mom, once again, to tell her of our experience. Before I could say a word, I broke out in tears and cried during our entire conversation. Once we returned back home I was informed that one of the other members that were there, as well as Bobby whom pointed to it as it was flying, witnessed the orb fly around the back of my head before shooting off into the sky. To me, that was Jim's (James) way of giving me a hug before leaving. I tell you what, I will never think of things the same way again. My life has changed from this day, and it will never be the same again. All of us that were there were touched in one way or another, and we all feel that we shared something that was amazing.
If I heard it from anyone else, I would find it extremely hard to believe and would pass off the anomaile as a firefly. But having this experience first hand and witnessing the flight patterns and appearance, it truly wasn't that simple. |
