| The Whitney Investigation #1 - 10/6/07 Main Building: 1:58am - Kristine (management) states prior claim of dishes moving from first floor in November of 2006. 2:31am - While sitting on second floor near staircase, member sees something described as "distortion" or "looking through water" from the lower level without the use of any equipment. 2:38am - Sound similar to dishes moving heard and captured 2 times. (2nd floor main) We go to staircase area to investigate where sound originated from and find it's from the first floor which no one is on. (Click here to listen) 3:13am - Elevator opening on own captured (2nd floor main). NOTE: Just prior at 3:09:35am member opens elevator, this possibly triggers it to open on own afterwards due to wiring problem(?). Management claims to have had repairmen check for cause of operating on own and they've come to no conclusion of natural reasoning as of yet. Carriage House: 3:34am - Possible female EVP "Watch it there" captured.(Click here to listen) 3:52am - Main audio recorder stops recording on own. (not caused by battery loss) 3:55am - Kat's video cam battery dies out, had 255 minutes left. "Do something, this may be your only time" said just prior. 4:04am - HGH member's video battery drains, had 60 mins. NOTE: Theory is, if something tries to manifest, it pulls energy from it's surroundings possibly causing battery drain. However, battery drain cannot be used as positive evidence of paranormal phenomena. 4:06am - Kat and HGH member smell something very unusual. (According to them, it wasn't there prior, nor does it stay.) Main Building: Second floor dining room: 3:45am - 73.7 degree avg temp. 3:46am - Member asks for temp to drop down to 66 degrees. 3:47am - Temp at 70.8 degrees (continues dropping). 3:48am - Temp at 68.7 degrees. 3:50am - Temp at 66.0 degrees. NOTE: Theory is, by something trying to manifest, it may pull energy (heat) from it's surroundings causing a change in temperature. However, this temperature drop is possibly due to cooling system within restaurant (quite warm on this day considering the time of year and room temperatures did fluctuate often). "Cold spots" cannot be used as positive evidence of paranormal phenomena. Second floor stationary video (staircase area) captures: 3:54am - Footsteps heard and light turns off then on again with no one on floor. 4:18am - Single piano note captured (no one on floor). |
