LOVING MEMORIES OF HIGHLAND BOYS
CH Highlands Bronze Chieftain
Chieftain
(Grovetons Koko Khalif X Highlands Egyptain Queen)
Chieftain was a true showman - a joy to have bred and owned. He was the
number 1 chocolate dog in the country three different years: 1983, 1984 and
1987. He was always in the last cut for BOB at specialties, before JAMS
became part of our awards.
AM/CAN CH Highlands Chivas Regal
Regal
(CH Highlands Bronze Chieftain X Windshire Princess Of Bree)
Regal was WD under English Judge Margot Wooley (Follytower) at the LRCP's
April 1991 specialty. Mrs. Wooley's critique read:
"Here was the best mover of the day. He is really active and sound, driving
from behind and really stylish in movement. A lovely dark color with eye to
match. In full coat. He has that beautiful outline with the upper arm and
the shoulder blade making a right angle and the lovely reach of neck that
goes with it. excellent turn of stifle. Full of personality, only a few
gray hairs betrayed his age." Regal won several specialty veterans classes, with a couple
of JAMS before his show career came to an end due to George's lengthy
illness. Regal lived to over fifteen years of age.
