There will be let loose living fire and hidden death, fearful inside dreadful globes. By night the city will be reduced to rubble by the fleet, the city on fire, helpful to the enemy.
One only has to look at the destruction caused by the bombs being release by our NATO fleets to understand the horror that Nostradamus sees happening. Belgrade is bombarded every night and the loss of Christian shrines and icons is not comprehendible. Where are the peace activists? Where is the outrage for the bombing during Easter? During the impeachment one of the basis we had for bombing when we did was that we did not want to insult the Islamic world by bombing during Ramadan. So why do we continue to bomb? I believe this president is not only a traitor, but he is antichrist. Let me rephrase that, he is for anything that is anti-christian. So the bombings continue and Nostradamus seen them almost five hundred years before they happened.
Century V, Quatrain 22
Before the great man gives up his soul at Rome, there is much fear among the foreign army. The ambush by the aquadrons takes place near Parma, and then the two red ones will feast together.
Here we see that the Yugoslavia war will cause trouble with Rome. The Pope will probably loose his life in try to leave Rome during the Islamic invasion. One only can see that these plans were devised by ones that want to overthrow the papal system.

The two contented men are united together when most (planets) are conjunct with Mars. The African leader trembles in terror. The twin alliance scattered by the fleet.
Could this be the alliance of NATO, especially Tony Blair and Bill Clinton. One thing for sure, the attack of the Russian naval fleet against NATO brings dread to Koffi Annan.

The kingdom and law raised under Venus, Saturn will dominate Jupiter. Law and empire raised by the Sun, will endure the worse through those of Saturn.
Century V, Quatrain 25
The Arab Prince, Mars, the Sun, Venus and Leo, the rule of the Church will succumb to the sea. Towards Persia very nearly a million men will invade Egypt and Byzantium, the true serpent.
Byzantium is Constantinople. It is amazing to see the conflict of the Balkan area and mainly the role that Turkey will play in this next war. Many interpret this as beginning around 1987, about the time that Iraq and Iran was ending. Iraq invaded Iran in September 1980 and ended in August 1988, with an estimated total of 1.7 million wounded and one million dead. Saddam Hussein boasted of having a million men at the time in his army. Between 1982 and 1987 the fighting resulted in a stalemate. In 1987 the United States and other nations stationed warships in the Gulf to protect shipping. By 1988 Iran had lost the will to continue the war. A cease-fire was reached in August 1988 with the help of the United Nations. Definitely, these same players are alive and well at the turn of this century and will play a role with the war against the Christian in the next few months.

With fire and weapons, not far from the Black Sea, he will come from Persia to occupy Trebizond. Pharos and Mytilene tremble, the Sun is bright, the Adriatic Sea covered with Arab blood.
Once again we see the conflict of the killing of the Islamic faith. (Could this be the ethnic Albanians who are mainly Islamic?)
The Black Sea lies between Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Turkey and Russia. No doubt this is a power keg right now and will escalate in the next few months. What is so strange is the accuracy of the prophecies and how we could avoid all of the horror by just not making war; instead we believe our leaders and they lead us to destroy ourselves in the end.

The Royal blood will be very mixed; the French will be restrained by the West. They will wait until his term of office has ended, and the memory of his voice has perished.
This links England's entrance into the European Union with America's involvement in the outcome.
Century V, Quatrain 46
Quarrels and new schisms by the red hats when the Satins will have been elected. They will produce great sophisms against him and Rome will be injured by those of Albania.
The first link we have of the true motives of this war! It is the destruction of Christianity that is the desired outcome of the Yugoslavia war. Albania is linked with this Pope from northeast of Rome. Poland is definitely northeast of Rome on the Map. Could this quatrain be talking about Pope John Paul and the Kosovar war? The pope has asked for a cease-fire during Easter of which he asked in vain. The Serbs are the Christians and the Albanians are the Muslims. What more evidence of the twisted slant of Bill Clinton when it come to foreign policy. Two million North Koreans are starved to death, Croatians kill Serbs by the thousands, but he chooses to go to war against Christians killing Muslims!
Century V, Quatrain 47
The great Arab will march well to the fore, he will be betrayed by the Byzantine: ancient Rhodes will come forward to meet him and greater harm through the other Hungarians.
According to Nostradamus, Rhodes in Greece will be the base for an operation against the Arabs. The other Hungarians could mean the Serbs and Yugoslav people. Hungary is just above Croatia where the "ethnic cleansing" of Christian went unnoticed by our president, Heir Klinton!
Century V, Quatrain 48
After the great affliction of the scepter two enemies will be defeated by them. A fleet from Africa will come forth to the Hungarians; dreadful deeds will occur on land and sea.
This is a continuation of the last quatrain. Could the NATO alliance fleet be misconstrued for a UN fleet under Kofi Anan?
Century V, Quatrain 49
Not from Spain but from ancient France will he be elected for the trembling ship. He will make a promise to the enemy who will cause great plague during his reign.
The next Pope will be of French decent. He will cause more harm to the church than any other pope will. He will be full of compromise and deceit.
Century V, Quatrain 53
The law of the Sun contending with Venus, appropriating the spirit of prophecy. Neither the one nor the other will be understood; the law of the great Messiah retained through the Sun.
The Sun may stand here for Christianity and Venus for Islam. According to Nostradamus, Christianity will eventually prevail when Christ returns.
Century V, Quatrain 54
From beyond the Black Sea and great Tartary, there will be a king who will come to see France. He will pass through Alania and Armenia and leave his bloody rod in Byzantium.
This is the dreaded "Third Antichrist" that Nostradamus foretold. He will come to the Balkans through France. He will leave his bloody campaign in Constantinople.
Century V, Quatrain 55
In the fortunate country of Arabia will be born one powerful in the laws of Mahomet. He will trouble Spain and conquer Grenada and most of the Ligurian nation from the sea.
The Arabs will conquer Spain and Grenada. They will extend their rule into Italy, causing the Pope to have to leave the Vatican.
Century V, Quatrain 56
Through the death of the very old Pople will be elected a Roman of good age. It wil be said of hi that he weakens the (Holy) Seat, but he wil hold it long and with stinging effort.
I believe this is talking about Pope John Paul. He has held the seat long and strong.
Century V, Quatrain 68
The great Camel wil come to drink of the Danube and the Rhine, and will not repent of it. Those of the Rhone tremble and even more so those of the Loire; near the Alps the cock will ruin him.
Here we have the Arabian leader causing harm throughout the area, even unto Germany. We are facing tough times with the Islamic nations. Thank you Bill Clinton, you have opened "Pandora's Box".
Century V, Quatrain 70
Some of the regions subject to the Balance will trouble the mountains with a great war. The entire sex will be captured, enthralled, and all Byzantium, so that at dawn they will came from land to land.
One only has to see the line of Albanians leaving Kosovo to relate this quatrain to what is happening. The Balkans has become the match that has started the flames of W. W. III.
Century V, Quatrain 73
The Church of God will be persecuted, and the holy temples will be pillaged; the mother will put out the child, naked in a shift. The Arabs will ally with the Poles.
What lies ahead for us reminds Nostradamus of Moses and the destruction of the children of Israel in Egypt. We are facing terrible times for the church and we better get ready! Instead our materialistic churches care nothing of God, nor His Bride!
Century V, Quatrain 74
Of Trojan blood he will be born with a German heart and will rise to very great power. He will drive out the foreign, Arabic nation and return the Church to her early glory.
This quatrain gives us hope that a leader will come to power, which will restore the church. Many call him Henry. We haven't had a leader in so long that the thought of someone with moral values and a heart for God and country ruling seems almost unreal.
Century V, Quatrain 78
The two will not remain allied for long; within the thirteen years they give in to barbarian power. There will be such a loss on both sides, that one will bless the bark (of Peter) and its leader.
This is another quatrain about the alliance between America and Russia. Trust me people, we will see a conflict with Russia before the century is over!
Century V, Quatrain 83
Those who will have an undertaking to subvert an unparalleled kingdom, powerful and invincible. They will deceive, warn for three nights when the greatest one is reading his Bible at the table.
Propaganda is rampant in our media and press. The Pope will play a great role in the outcome of this crisis that we face. I believe he will ultimately be harmed by the elitist who wants his power.
Century V, Quatrain 86
Divided by the two heads and three arms, the great city will be troubled by water. Some of the great men among them, wandering in exile; Byzantium is hard pressed by the leader of Persia.
It seems a naval fleet will cause the harm to Paris. The fighting by Iran and the Islamic nations will lead to war deep into Turkey.
Century V, Quatrain 90
In the Cyclades, in Perinthus and Larissa, in Sparta and all of the Peloponnesus; a very great famine, plague through false dust: it will last nine months throughout the whole peninsula.
Not only do we have the Balkan wars, but also we see the mentioning about chemical warfare. Nostradamus, according to Cheetham, implies that the famine and plague are artificially induced. The area is definitely dealing with Yugoslavia and Greece and the Balkans.
Century V, Quatrain 91
At the great market, called that of the liars, of all Torrent and the field of Athens: the light armed horses will surprise them, by the Albanians, when Mars is in Leo, and Saturn in Aquarius.
Another reference to the Kosovo crisis. Surprised by the light armed horses, by the Albanians could mean that NATO will have their hands full when they start sending ground troops in.
Century V, Quatrain 92
After the See has been held seventeen years, five will change within the same period of time. Then one will be elected at the same time who will not be too agreeable to the Romans.
Another quatrain I believe of Pope John Paul who is not favored for his policy, conviction of faith and his devotion to Mary.
