    Bruce Olhson's comments below:

  1. I obtained the planned miles/days from Monty at the start of the trip.

  2. Wild inconsistency in planned trip average was never explained to me. I attribute it to two persons doing the planning and not consulting with one another.

  3. Trip average is obtained by dividing total miles by total days.

  4. Average walking day is obtained by deducting layover days from total days and dividing into total miles.

  5. Yes, I picked up 0.2 days somewhere. I don't know where and I don't want to fight about it now.

  6. We made a 4.29% error on planning miles and an 11.88% error on planning days. We hit it pretty close, if you ask me.
