It has also been reported to us that that certain supermarkets in Mauritius are not
respecting the Food Act concerning the the correct storage of certain products. In Curepipe two Supermarkets are not playing a fair play. They place on the shelves non-vegetarian burgers and vegetarian Burgers together and this in in against the Food Act 1998. Consumers should report this matter to the Sanitary Dept Ministry of Health at Curepipe or at the Head Quarters: Tel: 696 2854, 212 2098 or to Consumers Protection Agencies.
Now, that these two Supermarkets can easily be identified, should they continue in the filthy
affair, we will spearhead a national boycott against them.
