We have all at some time or another in our lives
spoken out in anger, or pain, or just in  plain
thoughtlessness, and hurt a stranger or someone
we love very deeply.  This is my thoughts on what the result of such carelessness could be.
Words We Say
The words we say are scratches deep
          upon the surface bare
We can remove the varnish-----but
           the markings are still there.

There are some things
           we cannot mend-----or
                  wrest to former glow;
For once the grain of soul is scored---
                          -----in pain-----
         the deep hewn scars forever show.
