For those of you who have been checking out the site, HipFrog played a local Upper Darby church on Mother's Day. God really blessed the performance, and we were glad that God used us toward His glory! As of May 28th, we have 3 original songs in the works and one complete (as well as multiple cover tunes and praise songs that we use for live performances), so God is really blessing us. We are hoping to upload some of our music to the web shortly, as soon as two things happen. #1 We have time to upload the songs, and #2 We figure out HOW to upload the songs. For now, please keep us in your prayers! Look out, we are adding a salvation prayer shortly (as soon as I get the time to upload it). We want souls to come to Christ. If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, you are missing out, and the Lord is missing you.
Well, I can't say I know what's going on with Hip Frog. We work different hours and it is tough to get together. But I (Jon) am writing a fair amount of tunes (I actually like some of them). If you've ever written music, you know that 90% of the time you write something, but once you sing it you end up thinking, "Man, that wasn't all that good!" But some of my tunes are really decent. Give me 'til August and I'll post at least one demo. Thank you to all of you posting stuff. I appreciate the comments! Pat does too, I'm sure, but since he can't write html, you'll just have to take his word for it. :) God bless!
This is Pat from hipfrog. For a long time now my head was getting messed up from all the stuff I went through in the Potters House. I soon will have my testimony about life after the Potters House and how I feel now. So keep check in; new stuff will be up soon. I want to get a prayer list up.
(August 22) Jon here . . . I can't say hipfrog as a band is doing much. Pat and I hardly ever see each other due to conflicting work schedules. But I'm still doing a little writing and am checking out a rehearsal with my church's praise band tonight to see if I want to play with them. It doesn't really matter to me that hipfrog may never really come together. Ya never know what will happen tomorrow. I have 4 originals now and am working on more all the time. I assume Pat is working on his private stuff too. Hopefully, our schedules will become more compatible in the near future so we can start putting it all together, but no complaints. God is more powerful than any situation and will open the door when he is ready.
