I think 11/5 2/1 is slightly better than 11/5 3/2 because blot leaving numbers of 6-1 and 6-4 next time cover the blot on the 2-point.
-- Rodney Lighton
3/2 feels better for the race, which is far from gin, but the tactics favor 2/1.
Aces would be duplicated after 3/2 for hitting 5/4* and covering 4/3.
There are more relatively safe hits after 2/1:
1-1, 2-1, 4-2, 2-2, and 4-4 or 8/36 versus just 1-1, 2-2, and 4-1, or 4/36.
Also, 4-4 leaves a shot after 3/2.

B/21 13/9*(2) 12/8 stands out to me.
I'm in no position to blitz, and I can easily see White having some timing issues getting stuck behind my four-prime.
-- Dean Gay
Trying for some kind of semi-blitz with a one or two-point board is the wrong approach. This position appears to be a battle of outside primes.
-- Neil Kazaross
B/21 13/9*(2) 12/8 looks solid. I don't think that hitting loose on the 3-point gains much with White's anchor and I wouldn't break the 7-point to hit on the 3-point.
-- Rodney Lighton
I took some time with this one. I didn't like hitting loose on the 3-point, since it doesn't do too much, but I thought it might be right to blast my way through the position with B/21 13/9* 7/3(2)*.
Apparently that's way wrong, which I still don't understand.
I did however manage to play the correct B/21 13/9(2)* 12/8.
